"Now Your Child Can Have A Blast At A
Fortunato Karate Birthday Party!"



Here at Fortunato Karate we feel kids can have a great time on their birthday with a Fortunato Karate Birthday Party. Below you will find all the info you need to plan your child's awesome, one-of-a-kind, totally unique karate birthday party. After reading this letter you will want to call me right away to make sure the date you would like to have your karate birthday party is available. Also, you may have some questions of your own, so please feel free to call Fortunato Karate at 464-0402.


We provide a group Karate Lesson for all who attend the party. This 'karate lesson' is more of a super-fun filled showcase of martial art drills and interactive games. Of course your child will be the star of the show.


If you child is currently a member of Fortunato Karate we usually showcase him or her by asking them to perform some of their best karate skills to there friends. Additionally we have the birthday boy or girl break a board which really impresses their friends and family.


If you child is not currently a member of Fortunato Karate don't sweat it! We would love to meet you and have the opportunity to show you first hand just how fun karate is. Aside from actually training in a Fortunato Karate class a karate birthday party would be a great way for you child to experience the fun and excitement of martial arts. We would take the time to teach your child some basic karate moves and of course we would teach him how to break a beginner karate board.


Some karate birthday games include dodge ball, musical shields, gladiators, freeze tag, relay races, shuttle runs or whatever the Birthday boy/girl wants to do (within reason). We have many games that we play, and we give the Birthday child and thier guests the choice. We structure the games based on the age of the children. Whether the student is 5 or 10 we have the right games for them.


STRUCTURE OF THE PARTY 


· Beginning of the Party – The party usually starts with Set Up beginning 15 minutes prior to starting time.


· It usually takes the guests approximately 10 to 15 minutes to show up and get ready to start.


· We usually teach a Karate Lesson for 15 to 20 minutes depending on the children.


· We then play games for the rest of the hour.


· The children usually then eat Pizza and Birthday Cake.


· After the cake, the children sit around the Birthday Boy or Girl while he/she opens their presents.


· After the presents it is usually time to go home, but if time is left, we play more games.


WHAT YOU MUST BRING TO THE PARTY 


Fortunato Karate will supply the karate birthday entertainment-- you supply the rest. We recommend you bring a tablecloth large enough for the children to sit around and eat--we usually put it right on the karate mat. We suggest pizza (it's easy and can be ordered right at Santini's Pizza, which is right in Timberline Plaza), juice boxes (to prevent spills) and ice cream cups (if you plan to eat ice cream) and a Birthday Cake or Cupcakes. Please DO NOT bring cups to drink out of, they almost always spill, make a mess and hold up the party. Some parents order pizza others don't. It's really your call.


Finally, when it comes to food, cake, ice-cream and presents just let me know what you want to do. Whatever you feel you would like to do regarding this would be fine by me.


The price for a Fortunato Karate Birthday Party is $175.00 for 1 1/2 hours...or...

$200 for a full 2 hours. (Please make checks payable to Fortunato Karate)

 

If you are planning on opening presents during the party I would highly recommend booking for 2 full hours. If you choose not to open presents at the karate birthday party but would like to allow more time for karate games and drills I would also recommend booking for 2 full hours.
